Parenting is possibly the world's hardest job – it comes with more responsibility than any occupation, but with no paycheck. At times, even our best attempts at showing love and care may be met with statements like, "You just don't understand!" Such challenges and simply the lack of control that comes with parenting often leaves us feeling anxious, frustrated, mad, and even self-doubt. Under such stress, connecting with our children on a deeper level becomes even more difficult.

As parents, what can we do to foster closer bonds with our child, and get them better prepared in both life and school?

In this webinar, we will hear from ELG's experienced social worker and counselor, Lingling Lu, as she explores the concept of mindfulness and what 'positive parenting' is all about. Being more mindful of our feelings and emotions helps us manage them better and sets the foundation for improved parent-child relations. Through mindful and positive parenting, we will discover how we can meet the emotional needs of our children, and nurture seeds of good characters and positive values.
