Art has always been used as a medium for communicating thoughts and ideas since the beginning of human history. Influenced by art and psychology, art therapy uses the creative process of making art, such as through drawing, painting, collaging, coloring, sculpture, and other mediums to improve a person's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Instead of focusing on the outcome, art therapy is focused on observing how things unfold, doing, and expressing.

 

ELG x Creative Shelter are excited to collaborate and bring to our communities an art therapy & sound healing workshop to explore your inner peace and bring mindfulness into your parenting journey. The workshop will be led by ELG's registered Art Therapist and Mental Health Counselor, Tingting Chen, and a sound healing session will be facilitated by Creative Shelter's Founder, Xinyi Huang
